Begun in the late '50s by Pietro Tizzani after his family decided to close their rock export business on the same site, it was passed on to his children in the 1990s, who keep the ethos of absolute simplicity and freshness of food, warmth of welcome and laid back ambience alive and thriving. The bedrooms are simple with cheerful yellow walls, some with balconies. Stay here for the atmosphere, the setting and the wonderful trattoria food.
