“A fabulous 5 star on Paris’ Left Bank a stone's throw from Les Invalides. Beautifully styled rooms and suites boast huge high ceilings, enormous windows and soft subtle colours for a restful feel. Plus there’s a lovely spa with pool, sauna and hammam, and stand-out restaurant. Superb!”

Hotel review

If you’re looking for a five star stay in Paris, that is within walking distance of many of the best sights and great shopping, you’re in for a treat if you book Le Narcisse Blanc. Situated on a wide boulevard, just a stone’s throw from Les Invalides in one direction and the Eiffel Tower in the other, it’ll have you fooled by its unassuming exterior. The rooms and suites ooze sophisticated elegant styling, with powdery pinks and greens set against, whites, creams and golds and black and white marble in the bathrooms. You’ll also find numerous period details typical of a 19th century Hausman building: enormously high ceilings, huge windows, original moulding on the walls and some Juliette balconies. If you crave a proper outdoor space, book the Aurore Suite with its charming furnished terrace and views over the Parisian rooftops. The ground floor is compact — though no less sumptuous — with a small bar, black and white marble reception and then through to the main event, the fabulous restaurant Cleo. It’s furnished with low tables and comfy dusky pink sofas in the conservatory area (overlooking a small but perfectly formed leafy inner courtyard — ideal for drinks on balmy evenings) and more conventional restaurant style banquettes and tables in the main area. Don’t dismiss this as yet another average hotel restaurant! The food here is superb and surprising from start to finish. What might sound rather average on the menu is delivered as a masterclass on the plate. Unsurprisingly it’s popular with non-residents too! To cap it all off Le Narcisse Blanc has a seriously spoiling Spa by Anne Semonin in the basement. It’s the perfect place to while away a rainy afternoon whether in the swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, hammam or all of the above! Plus of course an extensive menu of treatments using luxurious Anne Semonin products. This property is a bit of a hideaway in terms of its quiet, unassuming feel. But it packs a real punch in terms of the standards of luxury and service that it provides. If it’s sophistication, boutique interiors, small size and luxury as standard, that you aspire to in a hotel, then look no further!
