Looking out over the Atlantic Ocean, Maitei Hotel offers a delightful mix of luxurious hotel comfort and homely hospitality. The rooms feel personalised and characterful with tasteful decor, elegant furnishings and excellent art. Each room features one characteristic wall that is painted with a warm, earthy colour such as green, blue or yellow. The restaurant specialises in local Bahian dishes and guests can enjoy candlelit meals on the veranda overlooking the sea. There's plenty to keep you busy ranging from surfing to cycling and if you're lucky enough to be there for whale season, don't miss out on the chance to go whale spotting with the hotel's expert marine biologist. If you're simply looking for relaxing, just recline by the pool and enjoy the magnificent views. The ever attentive staff are superb and always willing to point you in the direction of one of Bahia's stunning, deserted beaches.
