The Maya Boutique Hotel & Spa is a small hotel with minimal fuss for couples looking for a romantic escape. The hotel has a strong ecological and sustainable offering with the building made of straw and self-sufficient in energy for those who want to travel ‘green’. The location is in a quiet town at the start of Val D’Herens region of Valais, known as Nax, with good walking trails surrounding the boutique hotel. There is one restaurant only open on Saturday night with a simple 3-course meal but a nice intimate atmosphere. More restaurants are available nearby. Breakfast is also a simple affair with all the usual items. The sauna and spa are only available upon reservation and are charged as extras but unique overlooking the beautiful region with mountains and green pastures as the backdrop.
