“Quaint small hotel with roof terrace and leafy courtyard in the heart of Selcuk's old quarter. Traditional fabrics and artefacts bring colour to white washed rooms with exposed stone. Home cooked food served in the courtyard. A well priced property to explore the local area.”

Hotel review

Right in the heart of the old quarter of Selcuk, below a medieval castle and the ruins of a Byzantine cathedral, this little guesthouse is simply the best place to stay near Ephesus. Book the top-floor terrace room, with its views of the old town, if you can. There’s a cool courtyard where you can relax after a day’s exploring, and the cosy shared lounge is an eclectic clutter of vintage furniture, paintings, pottery, kilims and antique muskets. Chef Cemil Akyurek whips up marvellous meals on request.
