Once a tired old 1960s hotel, this has been transformed into a glamorous beach club retreat that really has a 'wow' factor. Discretely located at Porto Heli, once a tranquil fishing village and now a slick moneyed destination on the Greek Riviera, the bright white lobby looks futuristic with its mirrors and curvy funky shapes - it looks like a sci-fi film spaceship interior. There's a lovely laid back beach bar/restaurant looking out to the pretty, if slim, beach. There's also a more formal rooftop restaurant. The 66 rooms are very pleasant but less remarkable: white again the dominant look, very spacious, typically with a walk in-rain shower and double sink in the sleek, bright bathrooms. There are balconies or generous-sized terraces, and suites have their own private plunge pools and sunbathing decks looking out to the lovely bay.
