“A house that grew into an intimate hotel set by the calm waters of the bay. Arabic rooms painted in white with four poster beds and lovely sea views. Romantic pool dining area perfect for honeymooners. The popular fisherman's bar creates a lively atmosphere at night. Paradise. ”

Hotel review

Peponi hotel has been owned and operated since the dawn of time by Lars and Carol and is a true reflection of their warmth and hospitality. From a few simple rooms set by the calm waters of the bay it has grown into an intimate hotel. The rooms have been designed with the island's Arab heritage in mind. With the romantic pool dining area being perfect for honeymooners; Arab ruins gently lit by the flicker of candles, and the popular fisherman’s bar, Peponi hotel has something to offer all. This has rightly been the place to stay in Lamu for the last decade - great levels of service in beautiful surroundings.
