The Radisson is smart, sharp and pared-back — perfect for business travellers (rooms boast desks and speedy Wifi) or city explorers keen on clean lines and comfortable simplicity. The hotel focuses on providing a brilliant night’s sleep: soft beds and restful modern spaces with fresh bursts of green and yellow promise to deliver exactly that. Most bedrooms offer great city views, but nab a Premium Sea View room to drift away within sight of the glittering waves. Soak up the city’s history and hit the shops — grab fresh fruit at nearby Kollupitiya Market and jewel-like handloom homeware at Barefoot — before catching some rays at the rooftop infinity pool.
