See What They Say
What is there to do in the area? Plenty! We are situated on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which spans 186 miles and passes 58 beaches and 14 harbours. There are lots of beautiful blue flag beaches to explore and boat trips to be enjoyed. Pembrokeshire is awash with history: old towns, castles and the smallest city in the UK! There are also many tourist attractions locally including wildlife parks, a theme park and a water park.
What kind of breakfast do you offer? We offer full cooked breakfast prepared to order using only the finest local produce including a Welsh favourite - lava bread. A full range of continental options are also available for a lighter start to the day.
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day every day for both resident guests, and day visitors. In the evening, guests can choose from our all day menu or our full A la Carte menu which changes daily to reflect the morning’s deliveries of fresh fish and local produce. Our Cliff Restaurant within the hotel boasts floor to ceiling glass windows maximising the stunning sea views and provides ‘unbuttoned’ fine dining. Our sister restaurant, The Mermaid on the Strand is situated on the harbour front in the village of Saundersfoot and, like the hotel, looks right out to sea. The restaurant has more of a bistro, family friendly atmosphere and specialises in fresh fish and seafood.
Which are your most popular room types, and why? All our room types are popular! Each of our 46 bedrooms are individually styled and so no two are the same. We have 20 rooms with sea views and balconies which tend to be more popular as people come to us to enjoy our spectacular views.
What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers? If you haven’t visited Pembrokeshire, then you really must as it is beautiful all year round and offers something for all the family. If you are looking to be pampered and to escape the rush of everyday life, the you have found your hideaway by the sea at St Brides. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
