Hotel review

Naomi Chambers' three legged cat Blackie affectionately greets guests at her 16th century farmhouse. Magnificently positioned the house overlooks rolling farmland criss crossed with drystone walls. A family home, the interior is unpretentious and homely. Comfy old sofas in the drawing room, a piano, an old vinyl record player, books and maps galore. The bedrooms and drawing room are painted with murals by local artists. Glorious walks spiral out in all directions. Homemade jams for breakfast and supper by arrangement. Fresh vegetables from the kitchen garden. It’s little wonder guests return.
