Taxis await guests just outside the main entrance of the hotel, ensuring seamless journeys to any destination. The neighborhood of the hotel, Kruununhaka, became the educational and governmental epicentre of the city in the early 19th century. The streets by the Senate Square line an area called the Torikorttelit, which is home to dozens of restaurants, cafés, independent stores, the City Museum and a cinema. Liisankatu and Mariankatu have many stores for aficionados of antiques, vintage and design.

What kind of breakfast do you offer? From the buffet, guests can select from classic Finnish and international breakfast delicacies, with accompaniments served to your table, or order à la carte dishes prepared to your preferences. Caviar and champagne are also available upon request.

Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? Lilja Terrace is open daily for à la carte dining for lunch and dinner (11 am until 11 pm). Our menu is a unique and modern perspective on French and international cuisine, while being centred in our Nordic heritage. Inspired by exceptional seasonal ingredients, locally sourced and from carefully selected purveyors in proximity to Finland, our dedication to quality is always in harmony with sustainability. Each dish is refined and elevated. On Saturdays, we offer Afternoon tea in the Lilja Dining Room. From 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturdays, socialise in style with a selection of delicious treats paired with an arrangement of fine teas and beverages from around the world. Room service is available as are snacks, meals and caviar at Bar Maria too.

Which are your most popular room types, and why? Our most popular room type is the deluxe room, according to the sales team due to the size of these rooms (29-38,5 sqm, double the size of average hotel room size in Finland) as well as the size of the bathroom. Most popular suite category is Junior Spa Suite, due to the fact that each suite has a Finnish sauna or a steam room.

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ? There are no specific facilities for children, but the rooms can fit extra beds. However, nannies are available upon request, and during the holidays, special activities are organized for children, ie., Santa Claus visit during Christmas, easter egg hunt during Easter.
