“Industrial-chic accents define this modern bolt-hole, nestled by Blackfriars Bridge. Exposed brick walls, Crittall-style windows and concrete ceilings bring the city inside, while leather headboards and olive panelling add a luxury finish. Hotel Review
Studiously hip stays at Hoxton hotels encompass far more than a bed for the night. At Hoxton Southwark you’re steps from the River Thames and the iconic South Bank’s cluster of theatres, galleries, pubs and food markets, but the hotel is a destination in itself. The Lobby Bar buzzes all night, Seabird rooftop restaurant offers special city views with your cocktails and oysters, and four floors of co-working space guarantee a quiet place to work. It’s a homely blend of style and familiarity - staff are bursting with local recommendations and friendly chatter. Each Hoxton is designed to reflect its neighbourhood; slick and industrial Southwark nods to South London’s factories, with floor-to-ceiling windows and bare-brick walls. Rooms come in five sizes, ranging from a ‘Shoebox’ to ‘Biggy’ (fairly self-explanatory), all with ridiculously comfy beds and dressed up with charming extras like handmade glassware, Roberts radios, upscale tea and coffee facilities, and thoughtful gallery walls. Neighbourhood guides and bookshelves are curated by in-the-know ‘Hox Friends’. Mention a ‘Tiny Hox’ upon booking and all baby essentials will be covered, from bottle warmers to nappies, cribs, colouring kits and breakfast bags.

The Hoxton Southwark
In a nutshell Since its original hotel opened in Shoreditch, east London, the Hoxton has spread its reach from Amsterdam to New York. Now it has a third property in London (there’s also one in Holborn), round the corner from Tate Modern. It’s just as hip and buzzy as the others, but with four floors of co-working space, in addition to 192 rooms.
