“An exquisitely designed hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Rooms are beautiful in style, with elegant decor, earthy colours, and vivid fabrics and artwork. 2 restaurants serve authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a stunning setting. Explore the city, with much of its culture on the hotel's doorstep. Bliss.”

Hotel review

Sitting on the crossroads of streets named after two explorers, Roberto Ivens and Hermenegildo Capelo, the hotel has taken its cue from its location - with no holds barred. Enter the lobby and discover a tropicana meets maximalist interiors fantasy, with bell boys in safari shorts and shirts, and the recently refurbished destination bar and restaurant realised by Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. Admittedly it feels slightly out of step with the decidedly classic rooms, which feel like they're waiting for a redesign of their own. But the fantastic location, high-end gastronomy and extraordinary dining setting (including an Instagrammable toilet - say no more) make this stay worthwhile.
