Hosts Linda and Bernie transform this plush Victorian Inn into a real home. From the scent of warm cookies that wafts through the house to their generous dishing out of local knowledge, the attention to fine details really helps make the experience memorable. Edie, their housekeeper is utterly charming, providing a friendly welcome and always ready to assist however she can. The house is beautifully decorated with antique furniture, while catering for all modern needs. For optimal relaxation and privacy request The Garden Cottage, set apart from the rest of the house, it comes with its own private Jacuzzi & Sauna. With a wide variety of local restaurants as well as delicious in house meals foodies will not be disappointed. Spend long evenings sipping wine on the wrap around porch.

Why do people love staying in your hotel? There is so much to do in the area. We have a wall rack that has things to do within an hour of every direction.

What is there to do in the area or on site? Hiking, antiquing, wineries, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Virginia Tech sporting events, Micro Breweries

What kind of breakfast do you offer? We offer a 3 course, sit down breakfast by candlelight

Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We serve only breakfast but have basket of menus from our favourite restaurants

Which are your most popular room types, and why? All of our rooms are popular. We have rooms with whirlpool tubs, a fireplace, a claw foot soaking tub and our cottage has a bed in a loft that has a sauna in the bathroom and hot tub on the porch

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms? We allow children 12 and over. We have one room that has a queen size bed and twin size daybed. Our King size rooms can accommodate either a blow up mattress or roll away bed.
