“Country escape on the shores of Upper Loch Torridon. 53 acres of park and woodland provide many outdoor activities. Scottish country house opulence twinned with contemporary designs. Seriously good restaurant and whisky bar. ”

Hotel review

Set in 58 acres of park and woodland, "at the foot of Ben Damph" and "on the shores of Upper Loch Torridon", The Torridon achieves the rural escape that many seek to achieve in the Scottish Highlands. With dozens of out door activities right on its doorstep, it offers the perfect gateway into getting the most out of the beautiful area. Inside, the hotel's "decor is all Scottish country house opulence without a hint of chintz", "a super-smart contemporary style runs throughout". The restaurant, deserving of its decoration, serves "delicious Scottish cuisine", to be washed down afterwards by a trip to the hotel's "whisky bar, which holds over 300 malt whisky".
