The Westin, Grand Cayman

Well-positioned along a nice stretch of the Seven Mile Beach, among tropical palm and caesarian trees, the Westin is tastefully designed with railings and roofing painted light marine blue. As you'd expect from a property this size, all creature comforts imaginable are on hand including mini shopping mall and large forum. The beach has lovely sand and there’s a wreck directly out to sea to dive for. The rooms, especially the Ocean Front Suites, are well-kitted out and face the evening sun. The restaurant has an extensive fresh fish menu. Breakfast however was slightly marred by the staff’s blind adherence to loud themed music. Although a predictable and safe choice it is nonetheless fairly priced, by Cayman standards, for what it offers. Perfect for a mini beach vacation for the whole family.
