Because it a human sized resort, with only 33 guests for 11 villas on the property, we can organize a personal service. Tiamo Resort engenders the spirit of wellbeing for disconnecting from the World and this secret place is for everybody from “renegades to royalty”. Our property is 100% private, with no public road access, and 6 km of private beach and we organize (including at nightime) all local transfers in South Andros island to our Secret Island.

What is there to do in the area? Tiamo Resort is in South Andros Island , which is the biggest island in the Bahamas, but with the smallest population. In front of the third biggest reef in the world, which is five minutes by boat from our beach, we have the famous “Blue hole”. This is an incredible place for snorkelling and Scuba Diving, and we have the PADI Dive center on our property. South Andros is also located on what is arguably the top spot in the world for “Bonefishing” (Special salt water fly-fishing). Tiamo Resort is the perfect location for relaxing, for honeymooners, and family time – we offer numerous complementary activities: paddle boat, glass kayak, sailing, Snorkelling trips.

What kind of breakfast do you offer? Do you offer other meals? Our rates include 3 meals per day, including breakfast and all regular Soft Drinks. Our Chef is a young Bahamian, and he is “Michelin” trained.

And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? South Andros has no urban Night Life, as it is a real Island experience and this is the reason that all meals are included in our per-night rates.

Which are your most popular room types, and why? Tiamo resort has 5 poolside Villas of 700sq ft. These are popular. Then there are the bedrooms with well-appointed bathrooms, with private Sundeck. All are within easy reach of the private beach.
