Hotel Review
A modern villa set in its own fenced, gated and green garden, Varaba Country House is a quirky mix of mini-hotel and guest house. The five rooms are small but comfortable, with excellent beds and bed linen, aircon, and super modern en suite shower rooms. Most come with a small private terrace, though because you're in the flight path, they're not entirely peaceful! Meals and drinks are served in the central reception if needed. The main benefit of this comfortable retreat is that it is a ten minute drive from Athens airport (£15 by taxi from the property), and both much nicer and less expensive than the cookie-cutter airport hotels on offer.
