Why do people love staying in your hotel? Because it is authentic, genuinely 16th century with all of its original features, and a quirky Inn with the most spectacular views.
What is there to do in the area or on site? It is located in a hamlet, in the Berwyn Mountains so walking, cycling, trial biking, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, grouse shooting and quad biking are immediately on offer, with many National Trust places to visit locally and the famous Pistyll Rhayader Waterfall within an easy drive. Also Llangollen is within 20 minutes drive, and Chester/Shrewsbury not too far away.
What kind of breakfast do you offer? Full Welsh.
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We offer bar meals, afternoon teas, and a full dining experience in our rosette awarded restaurant.
Which are your most popular room types, and why? The Character rooms in the 16th Century part with their beams and individuality
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms? We have two family rooms, a large garden, we offer childrens' meals and also have extra folding beds too.
What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers? Visit The West Arms for a unique relaxing experience with friendly staff and food which is prepared with passion.
"The restaurant is charming - another low ceiling, another mighty fireplace - and has a sophisticated yet country air."
