“Gorgeously characterful hotel in a sleepy village with an excellent restaurant. Rooms, suites and 2 villas (sleeping 8) in elegant traditional design. Exposed brick work, creamy furnishings, fireplaces and wooden balconies. Delicious food and wine, and a great spa. An ideal base to explore from. ”

Why do people love staying in your hotel?
Some guest comments
We could not have been happier with our choice to stay at Apokryfo - an intimate and private guest experience in a romantic and relaxed setting with friendly and personable service. Apokryfo was always special and peaceful to come home to after exploring the surrounding areas. The food was delicious and plenty and the staff was eager to please. We would recommend Apokryfo highly without hesitation’’
‘’Apokyrfo is truly a special place. Nestled amongst a hill overlooking the charming village of Lofou, it is one of those places that you just never want to leave. We stayed in Sterna, which was designed with so much attention to detail and truly relaxing. Sometimes we were brave enough to swim in the pool which was a bit fresh in April but absolutely refreshing. We loved the courtyard where you can while away the day reading or just letting your thoughts drift away. What makes Apokryfo exceptional though is the staff. And then there was the most sumptuous food coming from Eleftheria‘s kitchen. We felt very spoiled indeed. We just can’t wait to return.
What is there to do in the area?
Guest activities include a fully equipped gym with sauna and steam bath, massage and beauty treatments by appointment, a library complete with board games and DVDs and walking maps for the surrounding area.
Three golf courses are located within a 30 min drive from Apokryfo as well as skiing and mountain biking in Troodos.
Day sailing excursions and sunset cruises can be arranged on board a luxury 47' Beneteau or a 54'DS Jeanneau in Limassol Bay. They can go for hiking, cycling, jeep safari, yacht day trip, sightseeing and visit many wineries around the area.
What kind of breakfast do you offer?
Breakfast is a buffet with homemade fig, lemon, orange, apple jams, fruit salad, homemade pies and cakes, fresh anari and halloumi Cypriot cheese, lountza slices (pork loin), locally baked bread, Greek yoghurt with honey, fresh orange juice, coffees, herbal teas from our courtyard and many other homemade delicacies.
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?
The AGRINO restaurant serves traditional Cypriot cuisine, full of originality and prepared with wholesome fresh produce, for lunch and dinner, inside, outside at the pool courtyard or on the terrace.
For further dining options there are two taverns in Lofou that offer traditional Cypriot cuisine and there are plenty of restaurants in Limassol, that is a 30 minutes drive from Apokryfo, that offer more international options.
Which are your most popular room types, and why?
The most popular accommodation is the Almond, a spacious studio overlooking the pool, with its pale palette, flagged floor, corner hearth, kindling basket and retro curvy-backed armchair. The Olive with king-size bed, its harmonious black cream interiors make for a homely feel. The Schoolmaster's House with no luxury spared offers the utmost comfort for a family stay.
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms?
We do not have any special facilities for children. Our facilities are the swimming pool and the spa. But there are a lot of places for children activities such as water parks, zoo and paintball around the area that with pleasure I am listing below:
