A very new hotel in the city of Stockholm set in a historical building surrounded by other well-known cultural landmarks such as the Grand Hotel and Royal Dramatic Theatre. Located in the upscale district of Östermalm expect to find high-end shopping, museums and a wide selection of restaurants right on the doorstep. The building was once a bank in the 1910s and much of its historical past has been maintained alongside the new stylish décor. There are two bars (Papillon and Sophie’s) with excellent cocktails to boot and a very exciting restaurant in the hotel named after the infamous Bonnie and Clyde bank robbers. You can really break the bank here (pardon the pun) with excellent Russian caviar, oysters and Chateaubriand on the menu. Take time to walk around the hotel and look at the décor and crystal chandeliers or simply hibernate in your bathroom and enjoy the luxurious large limestone-tiled bathroom.
