Hotel Review
Sitting outside of the tightly-packed historic centre of Florence in the trendy Santo Spirito neighbourhood, this heritage hotel offers suites with breathtaking original features and a contemporary finish. Hosting an impressive private art collection, there are lots of little touches that lend this hotel a high-end feel. At six rooms it is a small luxury hotel; accommodation is split between superior and deluxe rooms. Some superior rooms offer a mezzanine sleeping space which is clearly a modern addition, but there are plenty of heritage features preserved in these rooms, from intricate mosaic floors to painted ceilings. The deluxe rooms have a luxury edge, with a free-standing tub and living space. Occupying a compact space, the hotel does not offer a wide range of facilities - there simply isn't space for them - but guests can peruse the private collection which has items for sale. Coming home from Florence with an original artwork is certainly a unique approach to souvenirs. A classic and refined Florentine hotel.
