“This luxury eco-retreat is located on an organic farm in Andalucía. Guest suites privilege the simplicity of natural materials, using adobe headboards and wooden bedside tables to complement the exposed stone walls of the traditional Cortijo. Relax and rejuvenate in the hotel's natural spring pool.”

Hotel review

Set amongst plantations of olive trees and oaks high above the plains outside Ronda in Grazalema Natural Park with large Pajuna cattle grazing at large. Owned by an Austrian, it opened in 2015, with April to September the busy months. With golden sand in the forecourt, a roaring fire and grand piano in the living room and massive panes of glass to look outside from. The rooms are luxurious but their décor is in keeping with their natural habitat. The yurts are truly a glamping experience with a palatial bed, butterfly chairs and windows with lovely views. The few guests sit across a table awaiting whatever the cook decides. The Finca is alive with projects passionately overseen by specialists. The farm makes most of its own organic wine, olive oil and honey. There are ‘bee beds’ for meditation, the horse whisperer exercises seventy of the renown Lusitano breed ready for riding, the vegetable gardener cultivates his crop to a strict regime and there’s an impressive medicinal herb garden. An eco-friendly, progressive lifestyle promoted in a natural spot of beauty.
