Sitting on the eastern edge of the Algarve, Vila Real de San António is often overlooked by summer visitors to the coast. The Guadiana River runs along the town forming a natural barrier with Spain; the river gives life to verdant plant life on its banks, making it a picturesque holiday location. Grand House Algarve is a beautiful heritage hotel that sits right on the marina, in the heart of the historic town and close to natural parks and pretty beaches. The grandeur of the 20th-century building has been preserved in its renovation, and the beautiful, light-filled suites have an aristocratic feel. The hotel offers a range of luxury facilities, both on-site and at the private beach club. The beach restaurant is a particular delight, serving fresh seafood dishes and signature cocktails which you can enjoy on a sunlounger looking out over the sea; a hotel deserving of its five stars.
