Hotel review

A spectacular affair set into the Italian hillside. A family run establishment styled with dark wood furniture, soft-coloured textiles and subtle art work. Even better to give full attention to the views. Elegant rooms and suites are low-key but stylish, with bathrooms to match. The library features a fire place to curl up next to after exploring the region's vineyards and mountains. The restaurant consistently good and also proud of its organic produce, as is the spa with panoramic relaxation terrace. A little off the beaten track, but no doubt it is worth the extra kilometre or two for some real tranquility and hospitality.
