“Reasonably priced property, which is well placed for business or leisure. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the mod cons you'd expect from a large chain. There's a buffet style restaurant offering International cuisine and a good outdoor pool, steam room and gym.”

Hotel Review
This is the older and junior Movenpick in Doha (there is a shiny new one in West Bay). The property is a 1990s low rise, but has been well refurbished and is run by cheerful, helpful staff. Reception has a buzzy coffee and cake bar, plus there’s a good outdoor pool with sun loungers, gym and steam room. Rooms are larger than you would expect for the price, with spacious comfortable beds, quality linens and generous bathrooms with separate showers. And - an added bonus if you're not a fan of air con - the windows open! Most importantly in Doha, the bar is not dry. The Movenpick does not set out to be a luxury hotel, but succeeds handsomely in being a comfortable and happy economy pick, only a £10 taxi ride from the business district.
