This unique eco hotel occupies a 1930s mansion built by architects Otto y Federico Bemberg, founders of the SAFAC company and the town of Puerto Libertad. Having undergone a full restoration, the property boasts many original features as well as a privileged location in the midst of the jungle, next to the mythical Paraná River. Rooms are warm and inviting; design pieces made from upcycled materials are complemented by local textiles in a natural palette. Each room features artworks and heritage furnishings; yerba maté toiletries recall the enterprise of the mansion's founders. The highlight of the hotel is the 5-bedroom private villa with full self-catering facilities and a pool; the set-up is perfect for a family or larger groups. The hotel restaurant offers a daily menu with a focus on local ingredients inspired by the jungle setting. There is also an extensive wine cellar which you can explore through a tasting. Don't miss the hotel's beautifully restored riverside chapel. There is also a pool for guests nestled in the jungle itself, a magical place to spend an afternoon. With so many nooks and crannies to explore, you can easily lose yourself in this charming eco-resort.
