Hotel Review
Located just outside Essaouira, amid typical Berber countryside and surrounded by argan, olive and Eucalyptus trees, you'll find the pretty Riad Baoussala. Slightly off the beaten track, it's an ideal choice for those who wish to be close the action of Essaouira, but not right in the midst of it. The riad has seven rooms: two standard bedrooms, three suites and two cottages which are ideal for families and small groups (they sleep up to five and six respectively). The decor is traditional with each room inidividually designed and themed. For romantics there's the red room and the Sahara Suite is obviously inspired by the region! In addition there's a fab outdoor pool (heated in winter) with surrounding loungers and hammocks, perfect for a day chilling, or simply a spot of relaxation after a busy day exploring the area or hitting the beach. Food-wise the in-house chef will prepare a delicious, traditionally Moroccan, three course dinner, and lunches can be ordered by the pool. A great find for those looking for a laid back stay close to the action, but just not right in it!
