“The sort of five-star luxury you would expect from a worldwide name like Taj. Boasting two of Delhi's finest restaurants and one of its best spas, Taj Palace only does things in the superlative. Gleaming rooms feature large beds and modern marble bathrooms. All this plus a huge outdoor pool.”

Hotel Review

Delhi’s only ‘palace’ hotel, the Taj’s luxurious offering brings unbridled luxury to the capital city. Located in the beating heart of Delhi’s Diplomatic Enclave it is frequented by visiting dignitaries and celebrities alike. When your journey begins by being whisked away in a gilded, golden elevator – you know you’re in for a lavish stay. Rooms sparkle and range from Mughal to classic French in style, but all are utterly spoiling and feature views of either the pool or the luscious green diplomatic areas. Pampering Forest Essentials toiletries are provided in the marble-clad bathrooms as standard. For a 402-room hotel provides a discreet and attentive service. An oasis in the centre of the city facilities are in such abundance you needn’t leave. From that huge swimming pool, to the iconic JIVA spa, providing Ayurvedic, Western and even medicinal Chinese therapies plus a 24 hour gym. A worldwide culinary tour is on the menu for breakfast, served at the bustling Kafe Fontana, but the Taj Palace is also home to Delhi’s finest eating establishments. Housed in a converted railway carriage, The Orient Express, is both novel and delicious. Providing indulgent North Indian cuisine it is an absolute must on many visitor’s Delhi “to do” lists. Then there is Wasabi, the favoured sushi spot of the city’s gliterrati. Afternoon tea at the Tea Lounge is also treat for the sweet tooth with a spread of European cakes, pastries and the odd Indian interpretation.
