This luxury boutique hotel, consisting of twenty-nine pavilions (choose between the Single, Double and Deluxe Pavilion), each with their own private pool and walled garden is outstanding, even by Bali's high accommodation standards. You could be forgiven for not leaving your private sanctuary, especially as each has its own personal butler to cater to your every whim 24 hours a day. Interiors are white and modern, with beds set upon stone plinths, large indulgent, and shaded day beds outside by your own pool. The en-suite bathrooms (with sliding door and steps into the pool) are massive with both a bath and shower and an incredibly generous supply of fragrant bath and body products.
Venture out though, and you will be rewarded with the nearby beach club (complimentary transport for the five minute journey). Here, there's crystal waters to be explored and staff to provide drinks and suncream.
Condé Nast Traveler describes poolside restaurant Faces as 'one of Bali's best'. Serving international and Indonesian dishes rich in flavour (their Pad Thai is to-die-for), it's the perfect spot to escape the midday sun. TAPA is the latest addition to The Balé; modern and lively the bistro serves superb house cocktails and delicious international tapas dishes every day from 5-11pm.
During your stay at The Balé you'll have the chance to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. The Spa has a wide selection of beauty and alternative therapies on offer, as well as a Sauna. There's also a gym if you feel the need to keep up with your fitness routine. Lounge by the main pool, browse the art shop or head to the private beach club for the day where the exceptional service continues. Part of the luxury collection Lifestyle Retreats, The Balé has so much more to offer than other boutique hotels in Bali and is an idyllic couples retreat. Simply sensational, with truly attentive and helpful service.
