“A modern coaching inn on the end of the Metropolitan line, updated by Ilse Crawford design, understated with character, and good food. Traditional Room 12 featured in the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral. Locals throng the small bar.”

Hotel Review
This hotel has the virtue of being accessible from the London underground network, so in 40 minutes you can be in a relaxed country town. The inn is compact but comfortable, with simple, 'contemporary chic' rooms in good fabrics and comfortable beds, while downstairs are old planked floors and inglenook fireplaces. The exception is Room 12, which retains a traditional feel - the room featured in the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral. Locals throng the small bar. It feels intimate and romantic, a good bolthole for wannabe Hugh Grants and their stolen kisses.
