Hotel Review
It’s obvious that you are entering one of New York’s most prestigious historic hotels when the doorman ushers you through to a lobby sporting a host of classic detailing, with stone pilasters, gilded mouldings and an expanse of black and white marble flooring. The spacious rooms and suites are equally impressive, elegantly and traditionally furnished, and typically featuring antique tables and cabinets, upholstered chairs and bright artworks. The service is top-notch and the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, The Perrine, is one of the best in the city. The hotel’s striking Rotunda is a riot of trompe l’oeil murals, and its wood-panelled lifts are like stepping into the 1930s. The lifts often have an attendant, something you so seldom see these days. The Pierre has a great location on the grand Upper East Side, with Central Park and upscale shopping on your doorstep.

The Pierre
This 41-storey Taj hotel boasts a superb location in Lenox Hill, luxury apartment-like rooms and suites with sweeping views of Central Park. The on-site restaurant, Perrine, is helmed by Chef Ashfer Biju and is undeniably one of the best you'll find in the neighbourhood.

The Pierre
Stately and imposing, the Pierre lives up to its prime location across from Central Park on the Upper East Side. Think black-and-white marble floors, gilded moldings, and big, fresh flower arrangements. You can't help but feel important when you're here.
