Why do people love staying in your hotel?
The hotel is situated in St Julian’s which is in the centre of Malta and the hub for entertainment. However the hotel is built on a private peninsula hence guests can enjoy a quiet atmosphere in all the resort’s outdoor areas. Also the service and quality that The Westin offers is top notch and this is something that past guests always comment on. The Resort also offers 340 seaview rooms, 2 outdoor pools, indoor pool, fitness centre and a number of dining outlets, diving school, hence guests can be spoilt for choice on things to do when staying with us.
What is there to do in the area?
In St Julians one can enjoy the various bars and pubs, restaurants and walks along the Mediterranean sea. St Julian’s is also close to a number of villages such as Sliema (renowned for shopping), Valletta – the capital city and other villages. Malta is quite small so it is very easy to go around the whole island in just a couple of days.
What kind of breakfast do you offer?
We offer a full continental and buffet breakfast in our main restaurant as well as in-room dining options
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?
Yes dinner is served in our restaurants which vary in cuisine type. In the summer months the resort offers more dining options such as a daily themed buffet at The Terrace Restaurant, Fine dining options at Quadro Restaurant and casual Mediterranean dining at Palio’s Restaurant. The Resort’s lobby bar – the ORVM Lounge and Piano Bar is also open from 8am till midnight and serves a selection of food from light snacks to delicious grills!
Which are your most popular room types, and why?
Our Deluxe rooms are very popular due to their size (42 metres squared) which makes them the largest standard room in the 5* industry in Malta. They can also accommodate two adults and two children easily and kids under 12years can stay in the same room for free. Our Tower Rooms are also very popular due to their oversized terrace which offers unobstructed sea views!
What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers?
When visiting Malta, select a hotel that offers a number of facilities as this will ensure that your holiday is one to remember. Malta is also very popular for diving and a hotel with a diving school is a bonus if you are interested in this activity.
