This coastal town is renowned for its hospitality towards tourists and was, indeed, practically built for them. The area used to be dominated by wild sand dunes, until the Argentinian government transformed the landscape by planting thousands of pine trees and constructing this picturesque holiday resort. It’s no wonder then that this is an extremely popular getaway for many in nearby Buenos Aires. Visit for a stroll down the long beach and take a dip in the sea, and maybe also pop into one of the great bars that line the Playa De Pinamar, the popular main beach that fronts the town. Flat sands, warm sea and friendly locals make this a great place to while away a day.
Summer for Pinamar is roughly between November and April when temperatures don’t stray far from the low twenties celsius. Be warned though, winter gets much cooler and the town quietens down considerably.
The best places to stay in Pinamar will get very busy during the peak summer season. So if you want to guarantee a room, do yourself a favour and plan well ahead.

Best time to visit - The summer season is undoubtedly the best time to visit (between November and March) when the average highs are around 25 degrees celcius. However it may also be rainy during this period with the resort's rainy season cited as November, January and March.
