Ornos is one of the most upmarket parts of Mykonos. The white cycladic houses, tavernas and luxury hotels, scattered over the hillside, tumble down towards the bright blue waters of the Aegean. It’s a great place for a family beach holiday. The waters in the southern part of Ornos Beach are shallow, so kids can safely paddle and swim. There’s also kite-surfing nearby, on nearby Korfos Beach, if you’re feeling adventurous, and some of the island's best restaurants are located in the pretty white village. Obviously, the best hotels in Ornos are upscale, though there’s still a good range, from romantic getaways with private yachts to self-contained studios primed for family fun.
