Friendly, sunny, good looking and a bit festive, Palma de Mallorca is Mallorca’s only city and a proper Mediterranean feeling town. Portixol is a popular harbourside hotel with a lively restaurant and bar, a lovely pool and exceptional sea views. The 25 rooms have a chic, nautical feel and there’s an excellent spa. You’re also close to the action if you’re here for the nightlife.
Palacio Ca Sa Galesa is a quirky, 12 room hotel in the heart of the old town, with a spa which borrows some of the features of the original Roman baths which sit on this spot! The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but full of character and there’s a fantastic sun terrace.
The small but romantically formed Boutique Hotel Calatrava is a sleek, six room hotel right on the beach front in central Palma. The decor is sophisticated in pastels, and there’s a lovely little cafe/ bistro with views over Palma Bay and the ocean.
The Can Cera is an historic townhouse turned five star, 12 room hotel. The decor is elegant and traditional, with antique furniture and artworks. Some of the larger rooms and suites have private balconies, and there’s a fantastic rooftop terrace restaurant with stunning views.
