Hotel Review
A true grande dame, this is Boston’s only five star waterfront hotel. Walking in, the elegant building oozes old-world charm, a huge star spangled banner billowing under a 60ft rotunda to welcome ships in from the harbour. Inside, dark cherry woods, cream walls and high ceilings command quiet luxury.
Even the smallest rooms are a spacious 500 square feet, but a Harbor Suite will give you 570, and panoramic views of the glittering waterfront (one benefit of jet lag: catching an awesome sunrise). En-suite marble bathrooms and separate living areas are at once posh and homely, stocked with high quality Diptyque products and books detailing historic Boston.
Rowes Wharf Sea Grille downstairs is a destination restaurant, where you can try ocean-to-table dishes and the famous afternoon tea. Refurbished Rowes Wharf Health Club offers options for those who like to keep fit, alternatively you can busy yourself walking the historic Freedom Trail and exploring iconic Quincy Market!
