Hotel Review
This art deco-flavoured hotel and spa overlooking the famous racing circuit and museum offers high-spec comfort. Roomy suites in manly dark wood with racing-themed and colonial artefacts hark back to Brooklands’ history, but also feature sensual touches like round day beds and lush soft furnishings. Pecksniff toiletries and fluffy Boca bathrobes bring a pampering vibe that extends to the spa, where first-rate massages and a bubbling outdoor wooden hot tub offer an indulgent time out. Start dinner with a cocktail in the handsome bar adjacent to the deco-style 1907 restaurant, which specialises in excellent British food with an emphasis on local Surrey Farm beef. Brooklands is an oasis of elegance for urbanites seeking respite from the city.
