“A grand country house hotel in North Yorkshire handy for the North Yorks Moors National Park and Durham Cathedral. Set amid fifteen acres it offers a quiet rural escape. Interiors still have many of the original features. An elegant rural escape.”

Hotel review

Built in 1905 and owned by the same family until the 1970s, Crathorne Hall has been converted into a charming small country house hotel. With only thirty seven recently refurbished rooms, it feels intimate and cosy. The decor is certainly traditional, but modern comforts have not been forgotten either: book a deluxe room and enjoy a private in-room entertainment system. Set amid 15 acres of stunning North Yorkshire countryside it is ideal for a spot of relaxation - whether that be exploring the immediate area on foot or venturing further afield to the likes of Barnard Castle or Durham Cathedral. Back at base enjoy delicious dinner in the 2 AA Rosette Leven Restaurant.
