“Just 20 minutes from Marrakech, this family-run hotel sits in its own olive grove, offering a peaceful escape. Interiors blend Beldi-chic style with natural materials, creating a cosy yet elegant feel. A heated pool, hammam, and a restaurant where everything is home made.. A laid-back haven”

Hotel review

Close to Marrakech yet in a peaceful rural spot, this auberge first opened as a guesthouse when Emmanuelle, the current manager’s parents first moved from France to Morocco in 2001. Gradually the family developed the place into a hotel and there’s a plan to expand to 21 rooms by the end of 2025.

An attractive pool surrounded by sun loungers and raffia parasols, sits opposite the bar and restaurant. The menu covers traditional local fare such as pastillas, daily tagine and changes every three months with the season. A cosy salon lends itself to reading or playing board games and an indoor/outdoor space offers a shady retreat from the blazing sun. Simple, comfortable Beldi-style bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and private terraces are set back within the leafy grounds (beautifully lit at night) offering peace and seclusion. A home-made continental breakfast sets you up for your day. A quiet place to unwind or use as a base to explore the surrounding area and dip into Marrakech when the mood desires more colour and spice.
