A short hop from Montpellier amidst hectares of vineyards, lies the charming Domaine de Verchant, a luxury five-star hotel. A tree-lined avenue leads up to the pretty limestone buildings which include an old bergerie (sheep pen) and forge. Picture-perfect and traditional from the outside, the interiors are contemporary with designer furniture and rooms feature all the mod cons, from iMacs to coffee machines. Each bedroom or suite is different, and around half have their own terrace. There are three swimming pools, including one indoors, but the piece de résistance is the infinity pool overlooking the vines, which forms part of ‘La Plage’. Sophisticated yet relaxed, this new beach-style area includes comfy seating, a bistro restaurant and a swish beach bar. Relax in the spa, work out in the well-equipped gym, explore the area by bike or sample wines in the tasting cellar.

Because it’s a peaceful place in the heart of a vineyard, and you can enjoy our spa, tennis court, bikes, pool, gourmet restaurant and wine degustation… What is there to do in the area? Visit the historical center of Montpellier, 10min by car, some wine routes, beaches ( at 10min ) , Camargue ( 30min) …. What kind of breakfast do you offer? The breakfast is continental buffet Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We have got 2 restaurants one gourmet and one “bistrot” Which are your most popular room types, and why? Deluxe terrace because there are large terrace to enjoy the sun What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ?
