Dating back to the 17th century, Es Cucons is a haven of tranquillity, surrounded by rural countryside and groves of almond trees – characteristics of the north-west of the island. A stay at this delightful finca, in one of the individually decorated seven double rooms or seven suites, is bound to be memorable, and the friendly staff will go out of their way to make sure this is the case. The beautifully-designed Mediterranean garden has a lovely pool and is dotted with secluded spots ideal for relaxing. Served in the dining room or out on the terrace, the food is excellent and complemented by a wide-ranging wine list. The fabulous cocktails are also worth a mention.
