“Old-fashioned pension in an excellent central location. Large Art Nouveau rooms with period furniture, some overlooking the sea. A small sauna and breakfast room that will serve sandwiches throughout the day. Excellently placed for exploring the city.”

Hotel review

Opened in 1910 and parts of the hotel seem almost unchanged. But that is its charm. Jugendstil (art nouveau) rooms and some period furniture. You may feel like an actor in a Strindberg play. Only 34 rooms (four with bath, all with showers), just B&B. Sauna. There is 24-hour service on the desk and wi-fi, so it is not a museum. Ask for a room overlooking the water; those on the inner well are a bit gloomy.
