“The very spot Captain Cook landed on his exploratory voyage. Light, airy bungalows feature high beamed ceilings, some with pool and bathrooms with nautical accents. Right on the beach with direct access to the marina. Plenty of activities, a kids' club and an extensive menu: great for families.”

Hotel review

It calls itself ‘The First Footprints in Paradise’ as Captain Cook came ashore on this spot. The actual spot has been manicured somewhat artlessly into a hand. Rooms are large with plenty of natural light, although not evocative of local Fijian style. However the lovely dark wooded beams are made by local craftsmen. Ideal for families there is a kids' club as well as a whole host of other activities - for all ages. The beachside restaurant serves honest fair with some dishes served with typical island flair, in coconuts and on banana leaf. The Cheshire born chef serves up a fusion menu of traditional and Indian traditions of the islands. A great all rounder and good for all ages.
