Ballbridge, south Dublin, is popular with more selective travellers; located just ten minutes drive from the city centre, it is a tranquil and green setting for a city break. The beautiful Herbert Park stretches over 48 acres, offering visitors an oasis away from the noise and hustle and bustle of Dublin's town centre. Perched on the edge of the park is the namesake hotel; though unassuming from the outside, the interior immediately welcomes you to four-star luxury, with marble floors and mirrored tables. Expect professional and friendly service, with lots of recommendations available for local sightseeing. With a restaurant, terrace and bar, there is no shortage of options for wining and dining during your stay; we recommend afternoon tea at the Terrace Lounge followed by a signature cocktail at the hotel bar. An elegant city hotel.
