“A rare find: a boutique bed and breakfast in the heart of 1850. Authentic and cosy with roaring fireplaces, traditional fabrics, and leather sofas. A delightfully understated spot. ”

Hotel review

A rarity in 1850, this delightful and unpretentious three-star bed-and-breakfast opened in 2010. Owner Aurore Charvin is the brain behind this little gem. The family owns Charvin Sports around the corner, and the chalet was built in 1955 by Aurore’s grandfather, Maurice Charvin, one of Courchevel’s first ski-instructors. There’s a crackling fire in the pretty breakfast room, a jukebox in the small reception area and a tiny bar. The style mixes traditional Savoyard fabrics with contemporary leather sofas. Standard rooms and suites come with fluffy bathrobes and Wi-Fi.
