“Charming traditional-style hotel in the historic centre of Lisbon. Old world charm, elegant sun-flooded rooms, and perfect chill-out terrace. Sit beside the fire with a book borrowed from the private library. A home from home with a warm and family-friendly atmosphere. ”

Hotel review

Away from the bustle of Avenida da Liberdade, this is a family-owned hotel, with a wealth of old-world charm, a personal atmosphere and a long list of devotees who wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. It occupies an old building, with large windows that let the sun flood in. The elegant public rooms reinforce the feeling that this is a calm refuge. Relaxed bar and seductive chill-out terrace, both perfect places to sit before venturing out into the whirl of Lisbon. The traditional style continues upstairs and into the bedrooms, which have up-to-date bathrooms and superb bedlinen. Staffed by friendly, professional people, who are always willing to go the extra mile.
