Hotel Tannenhof

The Hotel Tannenhof is the only five star superior hotel in St Anton, a fact that guests are reminded of by every sublime detail from the egg-shaped thermo-efficient baths to the exceptional spa and restaurant to the low-key your-wish-is-my-command service. The colour-changing pool has a pristine snowy outlook through floor to ceiling windows and there is a large terrace for guests to sun themselves and socialise. (The egg timer provided to assist with the brewing of tea is a detail which must have come from neighbouring Switzerland.) All rooms look towards the town and up the mountain and are decorated with un-fussy sophistication and an element of alpine rusticity. Run by Judith Volker and Axel Bach with 22 almost mind-readingly effective staff who provide faultless service without being obtrusive or oleaginous. Of course it’s fantastically expensive but absolutely everything is included, even cocktails, the mini bar and spa. And you’ll be able to boast that you’ve stayed there for the rest of your life.

We obey all wishes of our guests. All kinds of bread, marmalades, jams, cheeses, ham, sausage, fruit smoothies, fresh fruit, yoghurt etc.

Of course, our Chef de Cuisine Markus Kurz changes the menu daily, using only local products for our "natural Tyrolean kitchen“.
