“A beautifully restored boutique hotel in Athens' vibrant Thissio district. Modern opulence- high ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, & luxurious marbles meet exposed brick walls & mid-century furnishings. Enjoy delectable dining at Oh! Dio, & unwind with stunning Acropolis views from private balconies”

Hotel review

The glamorous shadows of Callas hovers above this neoclassical building tucked into a pedestrian artery beneath The Acropolis and just a stone throw from the august pillars of Athens ancient Agora and antiques and tat in Monistiraki’s famous fleamarket. Marble steps leading up to a lofty entrance set the tone for this stylish abode where glittering chandeliers hanging from dramatically high ceilings shed their muted light on sheer stone walls, a line of white orchids and a Scarlet O’Hara-like circular wooden staircase.

12 spacious suites with original stone walls have parquet flooring, king beds and gleaming marble-clad bathrooms. Most suites have Acropolis views; three also have balconies, whilst one spa suite has its own jetted tub. With Leonidas chocolates as turn-down treats, along with sumptuous evening mealsand gargantuan breakfasts served in the hotel’s restaurant Oh! Dio, even the (notoriously picky) opera singer would have loved it here.
