These intelligent modifications keep Lakestone Lodge off-the-grid but supremely comfortable and welcoming.
Rooms are bright, attractive and well laid out, each with high-quality bathrooms exhibiting designer bathtubs and basins and impressive views. Dining options to try include locally sourced venison, salmon and cheeses, accompanied by local and craft New Zealand beers and wines.
Guests can take advantage of a range of tours and experiences around the area.
